(Hey, that rhymed!) Whether you’re doing the robot or the worm or just swaying to the music, you’ll want to dance ‘til the sun rises. Or at least ‘til last call. (Some people are born with all the right moves, but the rest of us need a little instruction to smooth the sharp edges off of ours. That’s why you’ll find a host of free dance classes that sail along with you!)

The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Together with their group they’ll enjoy tons of fun-filled, age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, songs, games, toys, dancing, movies and video games. When it’s mealtime, kids eat together and get their own menus with back-on-land faves like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets and more. The whole time, our experienced counselors will be there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. Plus, when the sun goes down it’s Night Owls time — fees apply, but kids get to stay up late having fun while their parents also enjoy themselves well into the night.

Cruises are great for relaxing… unless you’re a kid! Since kids have virtually unlimited energy — and you know they definitely bring it with them on vacation — your Carnival cruise will get your kids moving and developing with Zumbini®, created by Zumba® & BabyFirst™. On every sailing, kids 2–5 years old will enjoy a free 30-minute Zumbini class that brings together the same musical fun that families love on land. The class features Zumbini songs, activities, special instruments and more, all in the name of movement. And on sailings six days or longer, we’ll be hosting a Family Zumbini class where parents can join their kids and our youth staff for guided activities focusing on parent-child bonding… and, of course, fun!

When kids visit the Build-A-Bear Workshop At Sea® , they use their little hands and big creativity to bring a new stuffed friend to life. They can customize their furry friend from head to toe by choosing the bear, clothing and accessories. The cuddly bears are actually just the beginning — these stuffed friends come in all shapes, like a dog, bunny, shark, The Cat in the Hat… even a bear with a special Carnival-exclusive design! To kids, arts and crafts is a fun way to spend an afternoon. Camp Ocean® presents plenty of creative opportunities for budding Picassos to master Monets, and kids can express themselves with all kinds of crafts from painting to jewelry-making. You know, future living-room-museum pieces.

They may be made out of flat towels, but there’s nothing two-dimensional about the performances at Towel Animal Theater on your Carnival cruise. They’re rolled, folded and brought to life by the same masters of the craft that leave the cute little guys nightly in your stateroom… except these especially-absorbent stars get on stage and put on a show for adoring fans, young and old. Experience the Tracy Arm Wilderness area, including exciting close-up views of the majestic Sawyer Glaciers.  As the ship enters Tracy Arm, she will glide to a brief stop to allow you to board a deluxe, waterjet-powered catamaran, designed for optimum viewing and delicate maneuvering. Mackenzie State Recreation Area: This remote and beautiful 13-acre park boasts jagged lava cliffs, lava tubes and blowholes formed when hot lava met the cool sea waters. Once closed in 2018 by the marching 40-foot-tall wall of crumbly lava as it oozed its way to the sea, the park reopened to an altered coastline and a new black sand beach.

O.K. Farms: We will explore the hundreds of acres that make up O.K. Farms and the surrounding natural areas. O.K. Farms grows an abundance of tropical crops ranging from cacao (chocolate), coffee, macadamia nuts, lychee, longan, rambutan, cinnamon, nutmeg, heart of palm, and so much more! Taste a variety of fresh fruits in season and learn to crack a macadamia nut. Walk through the coffee and cacao orchard as you get an up-close view of how coffee and chocolate is grown and processed here in Hawaii.

Ola Brew Co Brewery: One of Hawaii’s very first agricultural breweries, focused on utilizing locally grown crops and turning them into delicious hard seltzers, ciders, teas, and beers. Learn about how the lilikoi, vanilla, lychee, lemongrass and other delicious flavors come to life in their zesty libations. Take a walk through the fields and sample the flavors being grown right in front of you. At Ola Brew’s tap room, enjoy some amazing locally made food pairings and flights of samples.

Guided Sightseeing Tour: Your exciting day begins with a scenic narrated drive along the beautiful Hamakua coastline from the cruise ship pier to the rain forest at Botanical World Adventures. Jungle Falls Bike Ride: Take an incredible journey by bike through an area of the Hamakua Coast once dominated by Hawaii's sugar industry. This adventurous tour makes its way through a segment of the Old Mamalahoa Highway where you are surrounded by green rolling pastures and lush botanical scenery. Sightseeing Tour: Your certified guide will start your small group tour with a drive through the lush Onomea Bay Scenic Drive on the way to the famous Akaka Falls. Waterfalls: Experience two of the most famous waterfalls on Hawaii Island. Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls. Akaka Falls is a stunning 442-ft. waterfall that plunges down a sheer cliff into the water below. Rainbow Falls is an iconic waterfall right off a postcard featuring a 80-ft.-tall twin waterfall system. Look for the rainbow effect that gives the waterfall its name.

Pearl Harbor National Memorial: Experience one of Hawaii’s most tragic and memorable experiences, December 7, 1941, a day that will live in infamy. On this important excursion you will visit the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, complete with exhibit galleries and a short documentary film on the December 7 attack. Then board a navy shuttle boat for an brief nostalgic journey across the harbor to visit the final resting place of many of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona.

Byodo-In Temple: Visit this cultural landmark that symbolizes Hawaii’s heritage and historical connection with Japan. Located in the fabled Valley of the Temples, the temple grounds are at the foot of the lush, emerald green Ko’olau cliffs and home to wild peacocks, swans, and hundreds of Japanese koi carp.
